Pisco Sin Fronteras, Burners Without Borders

Pisco Sin Fronteras is a non-profit organization working toward rebuilding the city of Pisco after an 8.0 Earthquake destroyed the city in 2007.  We volunteered with PSF for a month while working on this short documentary.  We strongly recommend traveling to Pisco and joining the effort.  www.piscosinfronteras.org and www.burnerswithoutborders.org.

Casa de Milagros

We spent our time after Christmas volunteering at a children's home in the Sacred Valley of Peru.  Casa de Milagros takes in orphan children and provides them with all their needs through college.

We made this film for Apus World Peru in exchange for a trek to Machu Picchu.

We made this film for Wiracocha Spanish School in exchange for classes.

Just some beautiful moments from our first weeks in Cusco.

Our magical forest adventure in Portland, Oregon.

Our circus community in Austin, Texas.

A short video on love!

Experiencing Arutam

Filmed and edited by Kelly Schiller and Camilo Plata for the Shuar Community, Fundecoipa, and the Eckerd College volunteers. It was guided and viewed by an Anthropology and Film Class taught by Ashley Spalding.

Our goal was to produce a film that documents the service exchange between Eckerd College students and the Shuar. We intended to highlight the nature of service as a mutual giving and receiving experience for both parties. We hope the film accurately represents the perspectives of both. Due to the student nature of the project and the lack of anthropological credentials, this is not an official "ethnographic film".
